Among the noble owners of the mansion, Királyfalvi-Róth Tamás was the first who initiated significant reconstructions works. As there are no specific records about the construction of the mansion, the indication of the year of the completion of the renovation, i.e. 1748, on the facade is really valuable. He and his wife, Wattay Borbála decided to emphasize the unique nature of the building by creating a complex and unique architectural phenomenon with picturesque contours. Their daughter, Johanna, married József Teleki in 1762. The mansion was transferred to the ownership of the Teleki family through this marriage.
