Even though the history of Szirák is not very well-known, we can’t omit the name that meant a lot to the village at one point. Mohorai-Vidfi János received the property of the knights of Szirák in 1453 as a religious gift. We hold historical figures important which is a kind of salute in front of the person of Mohorai since the village thrived in his period.
