Room history
Királyfalvi-Róth Tamás was one of the noble owners of the castle who began renovation projects. Since there isn’t a concrete record of the building of the castle, we hold dear the date 1748 marked on the facade, which shows the end of the renovation. He decided with his wife, Wattay Borbála, to highlight the uniqueness of the castle by creating diverse and unmatched architectural phenomenon dappled by artistic contours. Their child Johanna became the wife of Teleki József in 1762. The castle came into the possession of the Teleki family because of this marriage.
